It’s chilly, raining and the cyclamen are flowering. Autumn is here.

Even the cat has gone back to his bed instead of prowling round his territory enjoying the day and sorting out the neighbourhood.

Time to go into the big wardrobe and get a jumper out.

I am loving the fact it's Autumn. It's my favourite season of the year and I'm currently browsing some new wall sconce lights to go either side of the mirror above the fireplace to make a lovely cosy focal point for when the evenings really begin to get dark.
Also looking for one for our hallway to create a permanent welcoming warm glow so that our house looks really inviting and warm to passersby.
Just bought loads of lovely cosy socks and trousers and have ordered some new bedding and flannel sheets in dark colours - for me, I love the house to be all dim, warm white glows, candles and dark colours with rich fabrics etc. A place where you can shut out the cold, grey rain and come in and snuggle up with the dogs and a book by the fire.
Also love dark colours and flannel sheets in the colder months.

I'm still wearing my summer dress but now teamed it with tights,Dr marten boots and denim jacket 😀

I woke up to cold, rain, clouds etc this morning, made me feel quite sad, I love summer. Will have to dig out my winter coat.

I’m so happy to hear and see the rain after the relentless summer which took over spring. God knows, we in the SE need the rain.

Ive decorated my garden office with a few autumn decorations and am listening to the rain and feeling at peace. Bliss

Ooh yes me too!! We've had sun all day and now suddenly it's done all dark and rainy. So ive put my lamp and fairy lights on. I love it!!! I spent half the summer with the blinds closed, I can't wait for some darkness.

My cyclamen is also flowering ❤️ the cats have started coming in at night instead of staying out. The autumn weather is definitely here

The rain is lovely to hear. I do like a rainy day
it’s long overdue isn’t it.

Is it too late to save the crops though ? The UK farmers never have the right weather these days do they :(
