Anyone else have persistent cough?

Hoping to find some solutions. I came home from work every day last week and went straight to bed with a cough. Ive taken paracetamol and used covonia for dry cough. Over the weekend the coughing fits were more frequent and caused me to struggle for breath at times. The nurse at work has sent me home today as I couldn't catch my breath because of coughing so much. She has given me a blue inhaler. I haven't needed 1 of those for more than 20 years. Can anyone recommend anything else that I should be doing? It is very scary when yoi cant catch your breath. Thanks for any advice you can share.

Try a facial steamer especially before bed. Winter nips ( Kop Kops) or blackcurrant and liquorice sweets to fend off daytime attacks. Anti histamine might help. I’m asthmatic and changes in weather can impact.

Yep was on a plane a few days ago and have the taste and smell symptoms of old Covid. Three days of fever, two days of non stop coughing so far.

DP is a few days behind and is coughing like crazy and feeling miserable but no fever.

Nothing works well. Some hot drinks with honey bought an hour tops. His cough is super annoying so smothering is on the table, that might help.

Just coming to the end of it but still have the cough. Real covid vibes, all I could smell was wee and poo everywhere. Then had a really off putting chemically taste when eating food over the weekend.
