A surprising number of male actors in old films Im watching lately look as if they're middle aged even though they're obviously young

And George Clooney has always looked like an old grandad to me

I learnt this the other day, my Dad entered the pub raging "How the hell am I a decade older than Victor Bloody Meldrew!"

Think it gave him a minor existential crisis.

Not an actor, but Angela Ripon.

He definitely looks much older these days than he did in The Office which is to be expected but I always thought he looked a bit like an over aged school boy, a bit like Adam Woodyatt.

I agree with Martin Freeman. Also Tommy Lee Jones, Emma Stone, and Maggie Gyllenhaal have always looked old for their age.

Christopher Lloyd - was 47 when he played Doc Brown in Back to the Future, doesn't appear to have aged since, he's 87 now!
