Applying for a job when you can’t do the interview date listed…

I have seen a job I want to apply for but I already know I can’t do the interview date listed. Would you include this info in your application? I absolutely cannot make the date given.

I would call them and ask

I phoned the organisation when this happened to me - they really wanted me to come for interview so they offered me a different date.

I wouldn't put it in my application - too easy to be sifted out.

I would wait until shortlisted (i.e. they are interested in you) and then ask if it's possible to do an alternative date. If they say yes, that's great. If no, then you haven't lost anything as your other option is not to apply at all.

Absolutely cannot make the date, perhaps when asking you will need to explain why.
