Rightmove Omaze House North Devon

Seem to recall that this property was "won" and when the person that won the prize they promptly handed the keys or so it was reported as the house had issues with stability?

There often seems to be problems with Omaze houses. Most people seem to quickly sell them. I think it is very near the coastline. The upkeep must be massive. I don't blame owners for preferring the money instead of the house.

Was new in 2018 and lived in. Far too close to the edge of the cliff face.Do not think there is enough research done when they put the latest homes on their site. Norfolk one was a prime example took a year for the person that won to obtain occupancy.

They seem to live in them for a few months to experience living in a luxury home, then sell them, and that’s what I’d do. Even though a lump sum is given the winner to cover expenses, it wouldn’t last long. One winner sold his to Alan Titchmarsh, who was downsizing!

I’m sure when I went on a boat trip around Combe Martin a few years ago they pointed out and told us about this place, they said it keeps going up for sale as it’s so close to the edge of the cliff it’s unmortgageable.
