Can I cancel a new broadband contract if it went live last monday?

I recently moved house (not my decision, due to disability, into a 50 plus sheltered living place) and called my internet provider to ask them to transfer my contract to new address (was still in contract with them until 2027) they told me they couldn't, all they could do was transfer me to full fibre, agent said my bill would stay the same (was paying £23 for normal broadband) and they wouldn't charge me more for going on full fibre.

it went live on monday and all my future bills are now showing as £46 per month (plus a £70 charge for next month) they have also put me on a new contract.

called them today to be told they had no idea why i was told my bill wouldn't increase.

seeing as new contract only went live on monday last week could i cancel this contract and leave them altogether? I am having huge financial issues at the moment and literally can't afford it, i could just about afford the £23 per month but now with it doubling in price I know I can't until my situation improves, if the agent had told me it would double each month I would have just cut it off and lent the money from my mum to clear what I owed to get out of the contract

Apparently legally you can cancel within 14 days of it going live.
