I see what you mean but presumably you’re shining a Torch through it to get that line. It looks inconsistent and off center so I don’t think I’d trust it just yet. That doesn’t mean you are or aren’t pregnant though, try again in 2 days and hopefully it’ll be clearer. Hope you get the answer you want,

That’s not at all positive. There is obviously a set place with dye in for if the test is positive, shining the light through it like that shows you were that line is by the look for it.

I don’t know. I think if it’s totally negative and not a faulty test, shining a torch wouldn’t make a pink line appear.

Unfortunately I’d say that’s a negative OP, however could be just too early to tell. I’d wait a couple of days and then test. Make sure you test on your first week of the day x

There is no pink line. There is the faintest colourless shadow where the test is different to accommodate for the colour change in the event the test is positive

I think it looks pink 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I agree and already said that I wouldn’t take that as a positive. I do think however we can be a little less blunt since op is clearly excited and hopeful for a pregnancy.

’less blunt’ - a negative test is a negative test, giving a bit of extra hope when we can all see its negative isn’t being kinder, it’s just giving false hope. You said you would have it as ‘totally negative’. OP seems like a sensible adult, I’m sure she can handle people answering the question she asked.

That’s fine, I think other people managed to convey that they wouldn’t trust the test, without being blunt. I think if someone’s excited about the possibility of a pregnancy it’s pretty obvious why it may be kind to be sensitive to that. But if you both choose to be blunt and think that’s best then we just have to agree to disagree 🤷🏻‍♀️

I always check these by making it black and white, and in that way I can’t see the line.
