Would you stop naps for a 21-month-old who keeps refusing them?

My 21 month old DD has been refusing to nap for 2, maybe 3, weeks?

It started with her not falling asleep until 8pm or later. Shortly after that, she started refusing to nap at naptime. I messed about with the timings of it and nothing worked. She would then fall asleep at like 13:45 maybe for 30 to 40 minutes.

In the past 10 days, she has been 50/50 whether she’s napped at all. 5 days no nap and 5 days with a short nap between 30-45 minutes. No naps have lasted longer than 50 minutes for probably a month or more.

It doesn’t seem to impact bedtime but I have to put her down for 6 as the last hour is really difficult. She will do 11.5-12.5 hours of night sleep on a day where there has been no naps.

Yesterday, she napped for 30 minutes and then refused to sleep until 7:45pm and woke at 5:30am this morning.

It’s now pushing half past 12, she is refusing to nap and has been up for 7 hours. She is asking to sit on the sofa with milk instead.

Would you just sack naps off?

6pm js very early bedtime. Would she do a short buggy or car nap? Mine is 23 months and we often do that as it’s much quicker than getting her to nap in her bed. So we’ll plan to be going somewhwre after lunch and she’ll nap on the way.

But also 7.45/8 is a normal bedtime at that age? Mine never goes to bed before 8. Sleeps till 6ish,
Maybe 6.30

If she won’t sleep at home I’d time a buggy or car drive at nap time so she still gets the sleep she needs
