Which robot vacuum do you recommend and what makes it worthwhile?

I've got a budget version robot vac but it isn't brilliant at picking up. However, I'm a total convert to the idea now (after originally being very sceptical).

Can you give me recommendations of which robot vac you have and why it's good please?

Thank you

I can't help as in same position but going to keep a watch on this post if that's ok as I am in the market

I can't remember what brand we had but it was great while it lasted. We could program it to do an entire sweep of the ground floor everyday while we were at work and then put itself on charge. It wasn't great on carpet but we only have that upstairs and once or twice it got stuck to the rug. It saved us a lot of time hoovering.

I've currently got a Lidl budget version. It's GREAT at picking up pet hair, which is good. But it's missing visible bits (crumbs etc). I need one for carpet.

I recently got the Eufy omni x10 reduced from John Lewis.
it’s exceeded my expectations. Vacuums really well and the mopping is good too. I have a very large area with rugs, wood, tiles and different levels and it copes with all that.
I also found that it has multiple maps so I can use it on my first and second floor too. It obviously can’t go back and wash its mops when it’s upstairs but does a good job anyway.
I have to manually do awkward corners but it’s so much easier now.

We've got an eufy X10 Pro Omni. It wasn't cheap and I can't compare as never had one before. It vacs and mops and can lift itself up onto rugs. Our entire downstairs is flat, tiled with a few rugs. The amount of brown, stinky water that comes out the machine is horrendous!

Its never got stuck in a corner unlike some other brands. I do also have a henry- which I rarely use now and a hand held vacuum stick which I use for quick things. I do like the eufy though.

Another one who upgraded to the eufy x10. Love it.

It hoovers everywhere every night and then hoovers and mops the kitchen and utility mid morning 3x a week.

Floors look much clearer and cleaner because of it!

I love the sound of the Eufy. But almost 1K for a hoover!!!!

You can get the Eufy X10 omni pro for £429. Or a refurbished one on Amazon for £299.

I bought a roborok off amazon reduced to £300 as they brought out a new one , it vacs and mops, I do love it .
It can be programmed for different routines and works through an app .
