Pls help me get my windows clean!

i clean the inside of my windows and use a window cleaner for the outside. But looking at them in the sun, they look sooo streaky and grubby. I’ve just spent an hour using a window and glass spray and a microfibres cloth cleaning them - then rubbing and running over with a fresh cloth. They still look like shit. What am I doing wrong? Recs please

I do mine with hot water, fairy and a cloth. Then squeegy. If they're really dirty I also put in some white vinegar.

Sounds weird but i put a tiny amount of fabric softener in a bowl of water, wash windows with cloth and this, squeegee then polish with the same ‘magic cloth’ that i use on my shower doors. There are numerous cloths out there but i got mine on amazon haul cheaply.
