Reccomendations for Shiraz please

Evening. I'm visiting friends next weekend. Husband drinks Shiraz so after recommendations for a decent bottle that I can hopefully pick up in Sainsburys, Morrisons or M&S please. I don't want to just pick one that costs more than the others and hope for the best. Wife drinks gin so that's easier because I do too!

I’d probably buy either of these, but not sure you will find them in Tesco, M&S or Morrisons:

John Duval Entity Shiraz (Barossa made by the former Penfolds chief winemaker) - about £30/bottle.
Cave de Tain Grande Classique Crozes-Hermitage (100% Syrah == Shiraz), priced around £15.99 at Waitrose.

I asked Gemini and these look like reasonable suggestions from the supermarkets you name.

Little Giant Barossa Shiraz is my favourite. I like full-bodied red wine and this one is just lovely.

Look for one from the Barossa valley in Australia. They tend to be safe bets as the region is famous for its shiraz
