No shared bank accounts, OH is self employed, I work full time, one teen of to Uni in two weeks, other teen just started year 11. I have somewhere to go. We are married, house in both names, he pays mortgages and I pay all the bills.

You need access to his work bank account. Hmrc tax statement for last few years. As he is self employed he can hide income and pay himself a tiny salary. You might be better to aim for a higher percentage of the house than rely on child maintenance. Does he have a pension? If so you need that to be valued, as will yours.

Do you know how much he has in savings?

Is it wise for you to leave the home?

Why would it not be ok for me to leave the house? I can still get half the value and will remove anything of value to me first.
