I want to have a thread for everything positive and happy going on in anyone's life.
I'll start: I am very much enjoying the autumn, the change in the air and the change in clothing.
I am feeling a lot stronger and healthier than I did even a year ago, as I enter my early forties I'm determined to give myself the best possible chance of a healthy middle age (although I do not feel remotely middle aged yet!)
I'm redecorating my house in colours that I love, and decluttering so that my house feels more to my own taste. It's really good to step into my identity in this way.
Please, share your positive stories too!

Both my teens are happy, healthy and thriving…. And quite honestly, as long as this is the case - the world could be going to shit and I’d be happy!

That's amazing and I feel exactly the same about my little family. As long as they're safe, I'm happy. If there's one thing that the last few years have taught me, it's that it's absolutely no use worrying about the state of the world.

Exactly. The age old expression “you are only as happy as your unhappiest child”

Well, I'm enjoying being 56 and I haven't lost as much hair as I thought I would by now! . My daughter and hubby have recently bought a new house, I've finally decided how and where I'm going to live post-retirement and I've had a quite productive trip to the dentist this afternoon. I've also just bought a good book in Oxfam. I'm also grateful for just being healthy-ish, grateful that the super-hot weather has buggered off and looking forward to three days off work from tomorrow!
