Tui at Manchester Airport

Just wondered if anyone works for Tui and has got a contact for Tui at Manchester airport. DS Is travelling to Majorca on Saturday and has a query about taking a saxophone in the cabin. Really struggling to get to speak to anyone. Thanks in advance.

I don't work for TUI but presumably you've read this:

Small instruments: If your instrument and its case fit inside the 55 x 40 x 20 cm limit, it counts as your piece of hand luggage.
Larger instruments: For UK-based TUI Airways flights, larger instruments cannot have an extra seat purchased for them and must be checked in as hold luggage for an extra fee.

Thanks. DS has been doing most of the research so I hadn’t seen this. He saw something where it said you could have a slightly larger piece of hand luggage if you let them know in advance but has struggled to do this. The online chat wasn’t working yesterday and he did speak to someone at Tui (I think head office) who didn’t seem to understand what he was asking. There is an option for it to go in a flight case with some other equipment but he’d prefer to have it in the cabin if possible. We’ll see how he gets in today

Update: he flew with Tui on the way out and Jet 2 on the way back. Both airlines let him have his sax as hand luggage (only an alto so not that big, but longer than the official allowable hand luggage size) and check his cabin case for free as hold luggage.
