Peri menapause

i have been going through peri menapause last 8 years period erratic and went 6 months period free but in June i a few days of light bleeding then I’ve been bleeding for 3 weeks now and really worried as my mum had endometrial cancer I’ve got appointment for the 15th but really scared and anxiety really high . Not on HRT still get the flushes and joint pain i do have a hydrosalphinx fluid in the fellobian tube and endometriosis so really worried. Should I panic had a smear test done in may all clear .

How old are you?

I am 50

It can get really erratic in late perimenopause.
Ive had similar and it’s all fine. I changed the type of progesterone and it’s gradually gone back to a normal ish cycle.
Are you on continuous or 2weekly progesterone?

Periods can often get erratic and prolonged with perimenopause.
But you’re doing the right thing to get it checked.
