Swimsuit repairs

Not sure where to put this, but does anyone have any recommendations for a fabric glue for swimsuit type material? It has a hole in which is spreading a bit like a ladder in tights (about an inch long) and I want to stop it before it gets worse and also seal it up. It’s a competition suit and can only be ordered at certain times of the year so I can’t replace it just yet. Thanks

Try clear nail polish. I don't think fabric glue will hold. Honestly though, I think it's done for. Wear another suit underneath and stick the hole up with insulation tape every time. Our team has nasty cheap horrible suits and we've had more than one wardrobe failure mid- competition!

Thank you for such great suggestions. I’ll give clear nail polish a go as a start. As soon as the purchase window is open I’ll get another one, just need to get there!
