Hey all, this is a shot in the dark but incase anyone has had a similar experience and can give some insight. Someone I know moved to a new town and I am wondering whether it’s looking likely that she will move back. Here is what I know about the context:
-she was in the previous town for a few years doing a PhD at the university there which she completed
- she has been running a charity in the previous town which is still legally registered as ‘active’ on Google even know her team mates resigned from it, and which is still attached to a physical address in the previous town.
- She has a lot of friends there in the old town who are missing her.
- she’s not yet got an official lodging in into the new town- she’s sharing a house with her brother (who I assume already lives there). Sharing a house with him is “proving difficult” according to one of her close friends in the old town when I asked him if she’s planning on moving permanently into the new town
- Her family are not from either town, but are slightly closer to her new town.
— She has been in the new town for 6 weeks but her Facebook profile is still registered as being in the old town, and neither has she joined any local community groups on Facebook relating to the new town.
I know that this is very limited context- I am wondering whether it looks like she’ll be staying in the new town or moving back? Thanks!
