When did surveys become a Thing?
I’ve noticed it more and more over the last year.
I call my bank , the water co, my utility provider, supermarket, credit card co, I buy a flight, take the flight, go to Boots, buy a goddamn moisturiser online, stay in a hotel. I could go on.
Every single one sends me a bloody survey to complete.i never do them. What are they really going to do about my feedback? What’s really going to change?

I stayed at Ikos over the summer. The survey must have been half an hour long. A section for everything you could possible think of. Except the pillows which were awful.

And the only people who never send a survey, one I could actually fill out? The local council. Who are useless. Funny that.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who is subjected to this pain day after day.

Agree. The one place I definitely wanted to respond to didn't send one. It's a hearing test centre and they always phone when my annual appointment is due next year so I'll give them both barrels then.

The ones I particularly don't like are the ones that don't offer general comment box, and you don't find this until the end, with no Back facility.

It's the one box where I get to go bonkers on being asked what gender I identify as - I don't identify as a woman, I AM a woman. The other one is the insulting abyss of age, where 65+ is a cliff you drop off, instead of grading as per those younger. It's also piss-poor marketing as we Boomers are the ones with the cash aren't we, so surely they should be looking more closely at the moneybags?
