Can't apply for free school meals.

I can't apply for free school meals for my child. It says start typing to find school. But its not recognising the school.

Could there be any variations to the spelling e.g. St. or Saint, Road or Rd.?

If you try your local authority website it should list all schools in the area.

not every school uses the la for free meal provision. Contact the school direct or look on their website.

Speak to the school. Ask about it there.

Not all schools are listed on the council websites some schools you need to apply directly with the school

Do councils actually read enquiries i message them yesterday told them it was not allowing me to change the school coming up as school not recognised.

Their reply we have had a look and yes your children are entitled to free school meals. I didn't even ask that.

Contact the school like everyone is telling you.
