Dry robe? Or something else?

DS is playing rugby this year and I'm trying to get prepped for the rainy cold mornings.
I genuinely don't care about the asthetic, I just want to stay dry and warm.
Would multiple layers under a dry robe be a good option?
I've got a huge down coat that's like a duvet, which is great for cold days, but isn't fab in the rain so I'm seeking another option.
Thanks in advance 😘

I have one by Two Barefeet. Local Cornish company. Well, may not be local to you, but I love it. Not as stupidly expensive as a Dry Robe. I do wild swim all winter, but I wear it for rainy school runs and dog walks too.

And I don’t wear anything but normal indoor clothes underneath because it is fleece lined and very toasty.

@mindutopia I'd never seen this company before so thanks for the recommendation! Is it absolutely waterproof?
