Mainstream scented floor cleaner that does not leave hazy residue for high shine tiles

I used diluted Zoflora in the old house on terracotta tiles and the whole house smelt beautiful. In the new house made a big mistake, huge - got shiny charcoal tiles in the kitchen and hallway. They look wow when freshly vacuumed and mopped, but the tiniest fluff or drops of water makes them look dirty pretty much immediately. It is what is for the next 20 years, lesson learnt. I have been cleaning them with a flat microfibre mop with warm water so far, as Zoflora leaves a cloudy film. Would be grateful for supermarket cleaners that smell lovely and will not leave a hazy residue. Not wholesome enough for lemon juice and vinegar.

I’ve got charcoal tiles in the bathroom, although they are fairly matt not shiny. I use Method Wild Rhubarb floor cleaner, it doesn’t leave a residue. Also smells quite nice.

The cloudy film is caused by oils in products like Zoflora clinging to dark gloss tiles, so your best supermarket option is Flash Concentrated Cleaner or Astonish Specialist Floor Cleaner used sparingly in warm water with a barely damp microfibre mop. In my cleaning work with MCH, we find dark high-shine tiles always show haze if oily or over-concentrated products are used, so sticking to a tightly wrung microfibre mop and a plain pH-neutral synthetic cleaner is the key to getting a streak-free mirror finish without leaving any residue behind.

I had cream high gloss tiles in a previous house, hall, kitchen and downstairs loo. They looked amazing but showed every speck of dust/dirt. I just used flash floor cleaner and a mop which seemed to
do a good job on the weekly deep clean after mopping I’d lightly spray white vinegar and buff them dry with a microfiber cloth. They always looked gleaming.

I just switched from Flash to Astonish floor cleaner and I really like it, i only have kitchen tiles, the rest is laminate flooring but I get no residue/film anywhere.
