Can anyone recommend alternatives to a Ring doorbell please? It needs to be relatively easy to use and no monthly charges to use it etc.

Following this as I want to change mine. So disgusted it was used by ICE to chase people. I have disabled search party but I just hate mine now.

Eufy doesn’t need a subscription, it uses a sd card. It can be battery operated or hardwired.

Seconding Eufy. We have a battery doorbell and 2 solar powered cameras at the rear. Works well, easy to set up, no additional costs.

Following too. My Ring quality is awful & it misses recording movement when I know there has definitely been movement to record.
Also not connecting when somebody rings it 🙄

It’s a pain in my bum!

I have the Tapo D210 doorbell. No subscription, wireless, rechargeable but lasts for months. Good quality images and sound etc. I paid £40 on Amazon but you will need to buy an SD card. Highly recommend it.

I second Tapo. You can use an SD card or the subscription is around £2.50 a month for cloud storage. Really pleased with it

I have Eufy doorbell and cameras. No subscription and it always picks up our terrible internet from any position outside the house.
With the cameras it uses Ai to tell you who is outside (once it has been introduced).

If you get the Eufy app on your phone there are sometimes offers on there that might not be on Amazon.
