Yep apparently low pressure affects sinuses and balance

Yes

Yes definitely. I have the same symptoms and wondered if it was the weather!! Had to take one of my migraine tablets this morning.

TeenLifeMum · 29/08/2026 22:15

I usually get migraines when there’s sudden weather changes but so far I’ve avoided one. Very common though. We had a massive loud thunderstorm a couple of nights ago and it seemed to bring the humidity back, which was weird!

Justmadesourkraut · 29/08/2026 22:19

Yes. Ghastly headache, specially early morning and evening.

Didn't know it caused the weeing too. Wondered why I'd been going all day. Why's that then?

HRHCurmudgeon · 29/08/2026 22:19

Another reason why I love the summer and hate the shit, wet, low pressure, muggy winters we have in the UK.

Face has been tingling all bastard day.

Same here. I had to take one of my migraine pills this morning and have had aching sinuses for a few days.

And the weeing ....... never ending trips to the loo!

HulkHogansHair · 30/08/2026 07:39

Really heavy rain here last night. Hopefully it's going to help!

Yes pressure changes are a major migraine trigger for me. I also have a sensitive bladder but hadn't made the connection with the air pressure!

Coconutter24 · 30/08/2026 07:54

When the pressure is lower it can alter blood flow and oxygen levels which cause headache. Your blood vessels also narrow and signal your kidneys to make more urine. It’s actually got a name cold diuresis.

susiedaisy1912 · 30/08/2026 08:03

Glad to see I’m not alone. Felt awful all week. Migraine, dizziness, tiredness and generally yuck.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 30/08/2026 08:05

Oh. That makes sense. Pounding headache came on suddenly last night and I can’t shift it!

FabulousFreshias · 30/08/2026 08:06

I’ve had a really bad headache for days which nothing is helping with – I haven’t thought about the change in the weather but that could well be it. Also feeling sinus pressure and got a very runny nose !

Flickitspinittwistitbopit · 30/08/2026 08:07

Not ill as such but definitely a bit headachey, and my god am I tetchy!! 😤🤣 was blaming full moon which doesn't normally affect me that way then realised it was the weather...!

That’s interesting to know. Thanks.

My migraines are always worse as the seasons start to turn.
This week I’ve really struggled to shift a constant headache, have definitely been needing to wee more.

JulietSierra · 30/08/2026 08:45

Is this a real thing? I’ve been headachey for the last couple of days, wonder if that’s why.

Mothersruin123 · 30/08/2026 08:46

Yes! The snotty itchy nose part. Very annoying. I’d bought an air purifier for my bedroom which had really helped all summer with hayfever snot, but it’s been back with a vengeance this week and I couldn’t understand why. Now I know. Thanks!

Worriednanof1 · 30/08/2026 08:54

I had no idea!! Just worried i was coming down with something.
