Women in your 60's or over what would you prioritise ( or wish you'd prioritised) in your 50's?

Honestly pension contributions. I decided to pay additional voluntary contributions to my Teachers Pension and I opened a SIPP in my mind 40's. It meant I could retire at 57 after changing SIPP for annuity then Teachers Pension at 60 and I had enough income to see me through until my state pension kicks in 2 years time. I'll health hit me in late 50's and I was so bloody glad I didn't have to struggle into the classroom every day.

It doesn't actually change from the 40s/50s thread; look after your body (pilates, weights, areobic activity), continue to pay into pension, make sure you've paid all your NI contributions, work out when you wish to retire and ensure you can afford to stick to it. Do home/garden renovations that you won't want to be doing when you are in your 70s and travel as much as you can whilst your travel insurance is relatively cheap. Lastly, build up a side hussle that you can do after your have officially retired so you still have a some money coming in and the grey matter is still stimulated.

I’m doing most of these but any ideas on a side hustle?

Too late for me on the health front sadly as I've got long covid but hoping things will change/improve. Never thought I'd have chronic health problems in a million years!
