How much to give a teenager for overnight dog sitting?

A 16-year-old friend of DD's is coming to dog sit while we are away for the night this weekend - she's bringing another friend (who we know). She loves the dog and is very happy to do it but I said I'd give her some holiday money. I'll leave food in the fridge and whatnot. I've no idea how much to give her. Any ideas?

Where on earth can you find a professional dog sitter to do overnight in your own home for anywhere even close to £20😂

Ok. Maybe I’m wrong and they’ll be sat on their phones all night. What other options are you imagining? What round the clock care is this dog going to need overnight? People are being so weird with the stuff they’re making up on this thread. And actually we don’t even know the hours. I’ve just seen a pp making up it was 12, and not the op stating it. Either way the teenager was happy to do it, and the way the ops worded it makes it sound like the money is intended as a nice gesture. I can just imagine the comments if a teenager posted ‘I’ve got no license, insurance, qualifications or experience, but I want to offer my pet sitting services in other peoples houses for 50 quid a night’ 🙄

As the saying goes you dont get nothing for free and besides someone is doing to OP a favour by not having to get a professional

The OP was asking people's thoughts, I never once mentioned they should be paid £50 but surely walking the dog would happen besides just feeding it, my dogs get walked a minimum of twice a day.
