Moving back home old school friends

hey all anyone experiencing moving back to their home town back to parents and struggled reconnecting with old school friends? I thought it would be easy and I would slot back in but it’s hard making mum friends when everyone has formed friendships anyone else had this experience?

Have you stayed in touch and seen them regularly whilst you lived away ?

How old are you all ? As reconnecting after 3 years away at University is obviously different from 15 years on the other side of the World.
