Vinted issue

I sold 2 items in a bundle for £3.50 at the beginning of August. It seemed that the buyer forgot to collect the order (this was after they asked me how quickly the items could be sent out).

i messaged her to say that she had forgotten and the day for collection had passed, she was a bit blasé about it. I presumed the parcel would be returned back to me - we then went on holiday from 8-22nd August.

The buyer messaged me to say she had tried to contact Vinted but it was just sending her round in a loop talking to a bot.

On the. 23rd August I had a message to say that the item had been collected and payment would be available on the 25th, it has cleared today.

I don't have the item, it's not been retuned to me and it appears Vinted believes the transaction has been successful.

The buyer is now messaging me and asking me have I tried to contact Vinted and how she can get her money back.

I just don't know what to think. How do I know she hasn't collected it?

I've been doing Vinted for 5 years and never had a problem or someone forget to collect an order.

Any suggestions

leave it for Vinted and the buyer to sort out. If she's clicked "delivered and received" then thats up to her. Block and ignore

Let her sort it out.
Just ignore her.
Vinted customer service is awful - I wish her joy of it.
If she's clicked that she received your parcel, it's her problem.

I would agree with ignoring her, beyond repeating that Vinted needs to sort it out directly with her and that you cannot do anything to resolve it, as in, there are no options available to you to deal with this. Just repeat that if she contacts you again.

I got a vibe from her messages from the start. Surely as you all say if she hadn't clicked to say she'd received the parcel Vinted wouldn't have released the money.

You did everything correctly and now have your money. There’s nothing more you need to do.

The buyer can sort her own problems.
