Does anyone have any knowledge of pick up places for Sunday evening. I imagine it is utter chaos?

It's an easy walk into town best off walking out and sending you a location at a pub nearby

Oof, I think staying till Sunday evening is very brave! Is it their first time? If so, I’d be making an exit in the morning if I could.

use the official drop off pick up point by Reading Bridge. It’s well organised and well lit with a free boat shuttle from the festival site.

Be careful in the Lidl car park. Loads of people pick up there but you’ll get a ticket!

I wasn't prepared for how long it takes to get anywhere near, the first time I did this. Traffic is incredible and it took us about two hours to drive in from the outskirts. We ended up liaising on a call and directing our teens to walk down the queued traffic for about a mile and a half to find us. Allow a LOT of time!

Thanks all!

The idea that you’d leave on Saturday night or Sunday morning and miss a whole day of the festival you have paid £350 for blows my mind tbh. From what I can tell, there were some incidents four years ago, but since then the organisers have changed things quite a bit, including implementing new campsite set ups.

That said, I’m going on Sunday so hopefully it’ll be nice and quiet if all the young uns have been collected on the Saturday night 😜

@Newyearkiss thank you so much. Really helpful 🥰

I haven’t heard of people leaving Saturday night or Sunday morning.. that’s missing a third of the festival!! Some leave Sunday night (yes crazy traffic) and some organised ones get their gear picked up Sunday morning so they can just leave from the music venue Sunday night. The others get picked up or get the train Monday morning, I think the tent burning thing is outdated and overstated

@Savoretti

Some had the same dilemma last year too.

A couple of threads from 2025 may give more info; here and here

It’s not a long walk to the town or train station. I’d get them from somewhere like that. Going near the site is chaos!

Will the shuttles be working at 11pm do you think?
