Pyjamas during the day?

Is it acceptable to wear pyjamas at home during the day? What about answering the door for parcels? Watering the plants?

I’m talking sensible shorts and t-shirt types?

I wear clean shorts and tshirt pjs whenever I’m at home, open the door in them etc

that might be the case for you but not for everyone.

Wear whatever you want, you’ll regularly find me in pj’s on a Sunday! If you’re worried about answering the door you can buy some really nice and comfy “lounge wear” these days that doesn’t look like pj’s. I’ve got some from M&S but it’s too warm for the hot weather!

I had surgery 3 weeks ago and found each evening was a shower and fresh pjs. I liked it!

Now I just want to do a few jobs before I get a shower. I did don a bra though and won’t wear them in bed with day contamination on them.

I have loads of comfy shorts and t shirts and joggers.

I do think getting up and ready is a good start to the day too

I don't wear pyjamas to bed, only pants, however, I do wear them as comfy clothes when I'm showered but not going out and I will answer the door and go in the garden in them

Bloody hell, you really don’t need permission to wear what you want in your own home. And nobody who’s delivering your Amazon parcel or whatever gives a flying fuck what you’re wearing as long as you’re wearing something.

But no one has suggested that anyone gets dressed to appease the sensibilities of the Amazon delivery driver.

That said I don't actually own any pyjamas (I sleep in the nip) but I do have clothes I reserve for just being at home. Leggings and an oversized old band t shirt usually. So they don't really look like pyjamas and I don't sleep in them. And no fucking WAY am I wearing a bra in the house, bollocks to that.

I so wish it was acceptable to go home in a onesie after the gym in the evening as the little kids do after swimming.

I wore my PJs all day Saturday because I was in all day, doing jobs and slobbing around before a 4pm gym class. I showered at the gym, got dressed, and went to the pub. Seems a sensible use of resources to me.

PJs in the day will always look skanky, to me. I wear comfy scruffs if I am at home just hanging out - yoga pants, leggings, trackies with a T shirt, that kind of thing. As comfy as PJs but you don't look like an unwashed skank if anyone comes to the door.

I did once while wfm and, Oh phooey, I had dreadful issues as my beak kept clattering against the phone as I spoke.

I only really wear pyjamas when at home, I find them comfier than most other clothes. I have different day and night pyjamas though, I will only sleep in pyjamas which are 100% cotton but don’t mind synthetic materials for the day so I will get up and change out of my nightwear, shower and then get into a pair for the day. If I go out I’ll change into outdoor clothes but as soon as I get back in I’m straight back in my pyjamas. I don’t worry about answering the door or going outside in my pyjamas, I guess people might assume they’re the same pair I slept in and that I never shower but I don’t really mind what anybody else is thinking.

if I'm off at home or feeling I need a rest day no makeup messy hair bun yes I do !
I take a bath or shower and put on fresh ones and let my skin breathe but do nails feet facemask it does u good to have a chill day !
My pjs always look good thou I don't wear crap Primark ones lol 😁 so still look presentable if I need to answer the door !

Yes she did and you are right no one should give a damn at what the Amazon delivery driver thinks. All they care about is that they get their job done and maybe a “Thank you!”

I personally feel a bit yuk and slobby in my pyjamas. I don't wear nice/fancy clothes if I'm just at home but I like to get washed and dressed when I get up, even if it is just a pair of leggings and a baggy t-shirt, makes me feel more comfortable

Im in my black and white(101 dalmatians) pjs now.They are the clothes of choice when im off work and I answer the door in them.Very much doubt Chris from Evri gives a shit.

If they’re clean then fine but not if you’ve slept in them the night before in my opinion. I tend to only wear pjs if I’m ill in bed. If I’m having a lazy day at home I’ll put on leggings and a T-shirt after I’ve showered.

I am someone who gets changed into pjs when I get in from work though. I’m usually hone for 6, once we’ve had tea and kitchen is tidy then I’m in pjs by probably 8pm latest.

I always wear the pj's if staying home , don't see the point of getting dressed if not venturing outdoors . Nobody cares really
