Mini hard drive to back up mobile phone on the go recommendations please?

Has anyone got a portable hard drive specifically to back up their phone on the go? Only need 128 or so but small and can plug into a mobile?

I'm on holiday and too much time on my hands to muse my worthless phone being nicked. I'm a IT professional so of course never practice what I preach so it's really backed up at all. My original hard drive is the size of a bible.....

Any particular reason you want a hard drive rather than, say, a USB stick?

Will the usb work directly into mobile? I wasn't sure if I needed a UI. Android is set up for SD so it's got a built in UI to access and read / write. No sure if that's true for a usb stick?

I've never had a problem with Android and usb sticks. Just plug it in, wait a few seconds and it appears. I've got a Sandisk Ultra Dual usb stick I use for this as it's got both usb A and usb C connectors but a normal usb stick plus an adaptor works fine too.

Oh thank you for this, I had no idea this would work. I have a adaptor usb to C but like the stick at home so can't try it out right now. I'm shockly tech ( hardware ) dim for a programmer.
