Strangest /Best/worst. Advice you have ever had.

Whats the strangest response you have had to a situation on MN ,social, media or in real life.

Mine was years ago but it's always stuck with me. I was being evicted under section 21. So at risk of becoming homless. I was looking at other private rents I had mentioned looking for something with less bedrooms but with a dinning room. So i could use it as a bedroom. Baring in mind I was about to become homless

I had a reply saying "But where will you eat"?

One of the best advice was "ignore the senco and do what you feel is right for your child" I'm so glad i did.

Don't eat yellow snow

Worst advice: A bunch of nutbars in a pile on telling me I was being unreasonable to prioritise life saving medication over breastfeeding my then one year old.
Best advice: Don’t do competitive tiredness with your DP, even when you are sure you had less sleep - it will ruin your relationship.

Best work advice - just because someone's your manager it doesn't mean you can't manage them.
