Planning a weekend in Prague this October half term with dc aged 13. Has anyone been recently? What do you recommend?

I was thinking we would stay in the old town. I want to see the clock and the castle - that’s all I can remember from my last visit 30 years ago! Dc loves wintry things, cosiness. Would love to hear from anyone who has been there recently.

I went to Prague in October and it was hot! I was in summer clothes. Definitely stay in the Old Town. It's a place you can just wander around endlessly as it's so beautiful. I'd go on a boat trip if I went again, and do my research/book beforehand. I was scared of being scammed so didn't do it!

Oh my! I hadn’t even considered that it might be warm 🤣

a boat trip sounds like a lovely idea - do you mean a tour guide or a self propelling one?

A tour! If they do self drive that would be good too.

A day trip to Kutna Hora to see the ossuary is super interesting - as long as you are not scared of skeletons!
