Audiobook for preteen boys

We are heading on holiday this week and will be driving a few hours, maybe 3 at a time. We have listened to all the Harry Potter series narrated by Stephen Fry and last year we listened to a Tony Robinson history of the Second World War. My boys have also listened to a podcast about Titanic and liked that.

Could anyone recommend a book that we can listen to that is NOT any of the following, which we have already read-
Percy Jackson
Diary of a wimpy kid
Skandar
How to Train Your Dragon
Phillip Pullman

The boys are 11 and 9- we don’t mind some profanity as long as it is not crude, and we like any genre!

Terry Pratchet can be enjoyed by a whole family

Son and I enjoyed Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman at that age.

Project Hail Mary - my 9 year old loved it on our holiday last summer driving to and around Cornwall.

@midnightskies At that age my boys loved Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, read by Steven Fry. We listened to the whole series driving through the Rockies in Canada, and all loved it.

Just googled for your age range and it suggested The Wee Free Men and Wintersmith. Nation is one that isn't part of Discworld.

If you think they can handle a few more adult themes I'd go with Good Omens.
