I don’t buy as much food as I did before but tbh I could still cut it back.

Clothes, expensive pubs.

No berries or grapes. Smaller amounts of meat for family meals. Less varied fruit. Fewer vegetables. Cheaper loaves of bread. The cheapest packs of biscuits instead of individually wrapped chocolate bars. Use water in porridge instead of milk. Unbranded baked beans, ketchup and mayonnaise. Making sure I use every potato instead of buying too many and chucking them out when they go off. Letting things run out before I replace them, so we naturally use less.

I find the same too. I don’t buy backups anymore because I normally use it up quicker to get to the next pack.

Haircuts. I keep my hair in a pony tail anyway so just trim it at home.
Books for the kids, use the library instead so not a bad thing.
Don't get my nails done or buy expensive shampoos or cosmetics. Used to get the kids school shoes from Clarks but now it's the cheapest black trainers from sports direct.
Less meat, maybe twice a week.

Botox and I’m so so sad. I’ve also not had a proper hair appointment since May so have been wearing the most horrific mum bun. My nails look like I dig holes for a living. We had some work done on our house I have 2 more payments and then I’m going to go absolutely rogue on myself.

Own brand biscuits and was surprised to find some superior to the branded originals at half the price!

I used to have a cleaner but not anymore. I’ve cut back on getting my hair cut and coloured. I’m more mindful of not buying g too much when food shopping. I’ll go to more than one shop to get good deals. I’ve stopped buying clothes. If we need something I will try to get it second hand first before buying new. We’re not struggling but we were saving g less each month due to the cost of everything increasing so I’ve made these changes
