How can I hide a topic?

Quick question, Can anyone tell me how (if it's possible) to hide a topic?

Told you it was quick 😅 im using a samsung phone if that makes any difference.

Settings > Talk Settings > Manage hidden threads and topics.

I have an iPhone but it should be the same. Do you mean a topic or a thread? You can unfollow a topic if you have intentionally or accidentally followed it by tapping on the three lines in the top left hand corner and look at what you are following. If hide a thread subject, tap on the three dots beside the title the hide option comes up. Very useful tools!

I want to hide the Christmas topic, it's starting already and its August, and there will be more and more showing in active as the weeks go by. I just find it upsetting. I tried, or thought i did what LittleMissClutter said but this is what I got 😅 sorry, im a bit thick with stuff like this!
