Lost weight and ring cleaning!!

I’ve bern losing weight with WLIs for a year and am 1/4 of my weight to my goal! I’m really proud of myself- even with the injections it’s hard sometimes!

Today for the first time I managed to take my wedding ring off! I’ve not done that since 2018 and I’m really proud of myself. However it’s really grubby on the onside. I don’t wear much jewellery so don’t know if it can be cleaned? Would a local jeweller do it or do I need a specialist?

thanks in advance!

What are the metals and stones?

Generally you can pop it in a glass of water with a few drops of washing up liquid, leave it there for 10 minutes then scrub it with a soft baby toothbrush.

Or, yes, a jeweller can clean it for a fee.

Whatever you do don't use bleach! It'll turn the metal a blackish colour. Ask me how I know. 😛I've tried jewellery cleaning pots before, where you pleace the jewellery in for a few minutes and it's supposed to come out sparking but it didn't work. If it's not too expensive I would go with the local jeweller. My mum bought a second hand ring and had it cleaned by hers and it looked like a totaly different after the cleaning! Congratulations on the weight loss and here's too you reaching your goal. 😀
