Parking permit issue when living at a second address during the week

How to solve this?
I have a new job which means I will be living away from my main home for 3 days per week.
The house where I will be living for those days needs a parking permit to park in the road and requires proof of vehicle ownership at said address.
However my insurance /ownership documents for the car are for the home address I am at for most of the week as per the policy.
any thoughts on how to sort this as paying for parking for three days is expensive compared to the permit?

It will depend on the local council / parking management. Where I am, parking permits are tied to where the car is registered and council tax payment. Visitor permits are limited in number too.
If your car is not registered to that address, you won’t get a permit.
