Passport application help!

I’m applying for my child’s passport and it’s asking for the following documents. Do they mean my birth certificate or my own parents? So confused!!!

It's yours. I take it you don't have a British passport that you entered the number for on the application? That's usually why they ask for further docs.

You are the parent, so your birth certificate, not the grandparent.

I have a passport and entered the number and my DH’s when doing the application.

Yours. It's the child's passport and you are the parent, grandparents aren't in the mix at all.
