Building confidence

My ds is 6/7 in October. And he loves the colour pink but its come up in school how pink is a girls colour ect.
Its a shame he cant wear the stuff he wants to wear outside the house in case hes seen by someone (his words).

Id like to build up his confidence so he dosent feel like he needs others. Any tips that worked for yours? I've had many conversations with him but it dosent seem to make a difference.

Thanks 😊

Tell him people are stupid, it’s just current fashion.
It used to be the other way round and pink was a male colour and blue was for girls.
edited to say my 4/5 year old grandson also loves pink, and having his nails done. He also likes riding his motorbike and building with his dad.

I have done. I've even shown him a Messi football strip that is pink. I've shown him rugby kits that are a pale pink.

Hes still worries bless him. Kids are harsh when it comes to judgements
