I am going to the Edinburgh Fringe next week. I have never been before, nor have I ever done any performing before either, but I am taking a one-woman show to a small pub and doing an hour a day because you only live once.
I have an itinerary of other shows I want to see. Only one most days, so that I can be flexible and take stuff as it comes.
I am moderately terrified about my own show but excited about seeing lots of others. My questions for festival veterans revolve around must sees / must do's, top tips to do and not do etc. I am there Sunday - Sunday, the last week of the festival. My own venue is very central and my show is in the afternoon so I will be free before and after.
Top things to do / eat / drink? I am also looking to meet fun people and would not be averse to a brief festival romance should such a thing be possible. Any tips on places to go / things to see? I don't mean festival shows, as I think I have that as sorted as I want it to be. But other Edinburgh things or stuff happening up there.
Thanks!
