I did a target shooting thing with teen DC and DH. Just before the instruction session there was a bit of joking about who might do best.

The young male instructor said "my money's on Mum because the mum's listen".* *

Just thought I'd share he was right 🤣

I'm not a mum but I did surprisingly well at laser quest, given that I'm usually rubbish at anything like that. I came second in a team of six, the winner was also female and the others were blokes. They were really gung-ho about it whereas we adopted a more strategic, defensive technique.

My DS is 22 and if you ask him anything he’d always put me as the most knowledgable, the one he’s most scared of, the one he’s talk to.

Im not sure he’d describe as as the most attentive when it comes to listening to him 👀😂
