Daith piercing and AirPods

Hi, I’m getting my daith pierced in a few weeks but wondering how easy it is to wear AirPods (once healed). I’m not a big earphone wearer but want the option for occasional use…

Had my daith in March and still can’t wear my AirPod in that ear. It fits fine, but seems to irritate the piercing whenever I try. I have a conch in the other ear and that took 2 years to get to AirPod wearing status.

I had my daith pierced about 15 years ago and earphones still hurt.

They dig in. You kind of get used it…

I have a daith piercing in one ear and conch in the other ear. I can only wear the earbuds that hook over my ears now, AirPods and similar just don’t stay in!

I have a daith, I can wear ear pods but the ball of my BCR need to be up at the top of my piercing for the ear pods to stay in.

I’ve had my daith done for about 16 months and have been able to wear my AirPods and Loops since the first day of getting it pierced. I also have a tragus in that ear and a rook in the other with no issues.

Sounds like I might be ok once healed then…

I had a daith piercing 3 weeks ago. I’ve been fine with the airpod pros that I have, I just need to be careful with how I put them in and not have them as snug as they were. DD has been fine with hers, she has daiths, rooks and conches
