Did anyone else just get rain? I ran outside like a loon to see if it was really happening (and to bring in toys we’d left out)!

No. I gave up and watered and got 4 mosquito bites so doubly pissed off.

Forecast said a 20% chance of rain at 11pm, but none so far. My garden needs it so much.

We got about 27 spots. I was so excited for about 20 seconds

I know we are all desperate for rain, but we must be mindful that when it comes the roads will be slippery. The water will mix with the built-up residue of oil and roads will turn onto skid pans. Please all take care.

Rain here again this morning. Not much but enough to cool the air after months can finally think clearly 😂

The lawn is florescent yellow. Tired of having to water the plants so often. Will be doing a dance when it happens! Can't remember a time when I will be so pleased to see glorious rain.

We got rain in the early hours! My garden furniture cushions are soaked. It'll take a lot more than that to get the grass green again though.

Well it isn’t, here near Bath there’s very little if any forecast for the foreseeable future.

It rained for a few hours overnight here in Filey (on and off).

We had a few spots yesterday pm (NW) and more this morning, my plants are 🙂

Fingers crossed for the poor New Forest.
So dangerous here at the moment.
We need a week of rain to dampen things down.

My grass is a sort of burnt orange colour in places, totally scorched look.
