Question for those that have a loft conversion

Do you have a hatch to your eaves storage and if so is the eaves storage just like the loft pre conversion? Eg insulation on show? It irks me a bit that ours is like that.

i have eaves cupboards, with doors on, they were properly boarded, insulated and plastered when the conversion was done and the carpet was carpeted right into the eve’s cupboard. They are clean and as attractive as any built in cupboard.

The skirting boards also go into the space so no chips to the paint, although they do go yellow being in the dark all the time.
