We had one main course each, some edamame, some cucumbers, two glasses of wine and two soft drinks.

What do you think this cost in this day and age?

About £60? It seems standard for a glass of cheap wine to cost the same as a cheap bottle from the shops these days. Mains probably over £15 each and soft drinks about £5 each.

friedaklein · 16/08/2026 10:22

£ 120 ish

MelonSorbet · 16/08/2026 10:23

I'm so disappointed, I thought this was going to be one of those memory games, you know where you add to what the person has just said?

I went to Wagamama's last night and I had one main course, some edamame, some cucumbers, two glasses of wine and two soft drinks... extra noodles and a mochi.

Anyway, to answer your question, ninety quid.

friedaklein · 16/08/2026 10:23

Ok hang on how many people?

WhoWhereWhatWhy · 16/08/2026 10:23

£75

RobinEllacotStrike · 16/08/2026 10:23

£75

TerfOnATrain · 16/08/2026 10:24

£70

Tygertiger · 16/08/2026 10:24

About £80.

I used to love Wagamama’s but I think they’ve really deteriorated. The menu isn’t half as interesting as it used to be, portions have shrunk and I’m not at all impressed that they’ve refused to sign the kinder chicken pledge.

tillyflopped · 16/08/2026 10:25

£135

Anewusernametoday · 16/08/2026 10:26

£120

WimpoleHat · 16/08/2026 10:26

They’ve really put the prices up recently- I think as they’ve launched a loyalty app? My DD is forever announcing she has a free side/main etc, but the menu costs seem much higher. I’m going for £100 before tip.

clary · 16/08/2026 10:26

I think at least £75 maybe £80
Mains close to £20 each
Wine £7.50 each
Juice £5 each
Cucumber and edamame ? £5 each

We went to a chain restaurant this week. Six of us had a main, we shared a couple of starters between six and two had dessert. No alcoholic drinks and some had tap water. The main courses were very mediocre and service was poor. I was handed the bill to check in very dim lighting and just paid as I couldn't read it. got home to find we had been charged £27 for someone else's drinks. They are trying to rectify it/ refund us. Bill came to £206, minus the £27 we will hopefully get back . We won't be going back.

TeaFizzy · 16/08/2026 10:26

How many people - that makes a difference.

I’d say £80 for 2 and £120 for 4.

CocoPlum · 16/08/2026 10:26

I'd say £60-70.

MagicThanks · 16/08/2026 10:26

£90 (if there’s 2 of you)

clary · 16/08/2026 10:28

Yes I assumed this was two people having a wine each and a soft drink each.

If it was four people having a drink each (and obvs a main each) then more like £120.

friedaklein · 16/08/2026 10:28

I costed it for 4. So maybe £80 for 2.

Roulett · 16/08/2026 10:28

£100

MiceSpiders · 16/08/2026 10:30

Around £90 if two main courses, if this was 4 people £130

YorkshireIndie · 16/08/2026 10:32

I would say about £90. Wine is about £10ish, main course £15, £1.50 if I remember correctly for soft drinks. It helps if you have the Wagamamas app as they do offers. They also take blue light card everyday of the week

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 16/08/2026 10:33

Can’t guess until you tell us how many main courses 😂

Drinks - about £25; snack things £15.

unabashedopossum · 16/08/2026 10:33

Is this 4 people or two? Hard to tell if it’s two people who each had a wine and a soft drink or two adults having wine and two kids having soft drinks.

If it’s 4 mains then I think there’s no way it came in much under £120.

PropertyD · 16/08/2026 10:35

Is the OP going to come back? So many questions!

tigerbear · 16/08/2026 10:36

At least £120 for two people. DH and I had a takeaway from Wagamama a few weeks ago, 2 mains and 2 sides, and it was about £70-£80 I think.
