Any psychics about? (Boring) Lost item

I’ve managed to lose some essential bits for assembling a bed, it’s a cotbed that I need to convert. I bought it secondhand about 18 months ago and misplaced the big silver dowels.

They can’t be bought anywhere and the manufacturer aren’t able to supply more. I’ve had the house upside down looking but can anyone ‘see’ them please🙏🏼

In my experience you have to give St Anthony a bit of time. I think his popularity means he’s very busy.

Give St Jude or St Rita a go. Both patron saints of ‘impossible causes’ in one way or another, and with more time than St A.

Dowels are just bits of metal of a certain dimension and ,length just search for dowels online and find ones the right size.

Not a psychic but have you tried searching online for a photo of the missing dowels and then searching using that photo? That’s what I did when I mislaid the connecting bits from my garden swing. On the other hand do you have an old fashioned ironmongers nearby?

Could you have put them in the loft when you (finally) got round to putting the Christmas decorations back up there? I know I'm judging you by my slack housekeeping standards there.
