Comfy office chair on budget

I made a huge mistake with an home office chair purchase and now I’m so uncomfortable!

I’ll be writing a dissertation this year and if I’m spending hours at my desk I’ll need something better.

What chairs do people have?

I need one that has:
Adjustable height
Adjustable back
Arms

Any suggestions?

What's your budget? Watching this thread as want one but without wheels.

Honestly just try them out yourself- go to as many furniture shops as you need to- people were always talking about different brands and I tried some and they were awful!!!

I live in the back end of nowhere and when I do get to civilisation they never hold the stock!
