What can we do about these

Curtains are too small 😆 we have really high ceilings. Can’t afford made to measure, could we get some extra material added on?

IKEA do super long curtains very cheap. I have very high ceilings but still have to wunderweb them up a little

We got some from ikea actually before these, the only size we needed was this beige colour, they came and were like a bloody tent 😆 such thin material

I quite like the thin ones as well have blinds as well but they definitely do thicker ones. Maybe worth going in there so you find the thick ones. Getting a seamstress to add material on to your existing curtains will cost a lot more. What are your measurements?

Off the top of my head the drop is about 240cm

I’ve done it so it looks intentional and added a contrasting colour. Back when we all had grey houses, the curtains were light grey medium weight and I added yellow velvet about 30cm to the bottom. Almost everyone who saw them loved them.

I second IKEA. They have darkening curtains which are thicker than the thinner ones. I find them excellent value.

That sounds nice, we do have a navy sofa with ochre cushions actually, also a jute rug so was thinking maybe a natural line type border ?
