I’m in SW London and I have just felt a slight breeze.
Those of you fortunate enough to live further north may not appreciate how momentous this is 😁.
We have been sweltering for months (and I’m deep in peri so I’m fucking HOT). I feel like one of Christopher Columbus’s sailors when they spotted land for the first time.

Dear god I never thought I’d miss rain 😂 fortunately we’re going to Ireland this weekend so rain will likely be on the menu!

We had a few drops of rain earlier - very short lived happiness!

But then I remember as kids after a week or so of 35°C + we would literally dance in the rain when it finally came. I am still waiting to get soaked!!!

I think I’ve forgotten what rain feels like..

The rainfall radar is my new favourite page.

We are in the SE and trying to find a last minute holiday. I found myself actively looking for somewhere that will have rain!

This time next year we’ll all be heading for Finland or somewhere in the hopes of cooler weather. It’s utterly bananas how rapidly the climate has changed
