Reminder to put out water for birds, animals and insects

Please can I remind anybody who is able, to put water out for visiting birds, animals and insects.
I've been amazed this year at just how many bees I've had visiting on a daily basis, it's a very rewarding thing to do.

Yes I’ve really enjoyed being able to help out little wild friends with a bowl of water with stones in it lots of happy bees, butterflies, birds and hedgehogs.

I love the idea but I've always thought against it as I have cats and I fear it would just give them more animals to prey on or harass.
